How exciting to have been officially opened for an entire year! I cannot thank you enough for all of your support. My customers have all come to me via my blog and then by recommendations and referrals. How do I say thanks for believing in me, liking my style and supporting what I do! I cannot tell you how much I enjoy the process, especially of helping people. I get excited when I am able to help them find a perfect gift, score the ideal pair of ginger jars, or helping someone put together a great new vignette for their home.

I love running my little shop and can assure you, I am going to continue to improve and add beautiful things as I find them! This post is a celebration to mark the one year anniversary of my little online shop as well as a chance to say thank you for supporting me this past year!! There is much more to come and with your continued success and encouragement I will keep getting better and better!! Today is a little trivia post mixed in with some fun and then finally a giveaway announcement to celebrate! What's a celebration without a giveaway!

Ever curious as to my best selling item ever?  I cannot name one but here are the top five......in no particular order....

Here's my most popular pillow.......( a tie between these two)

And the best selling monogrammed item.........again a tie

The wonderful cocktail napkins..also makes a fabulous and affordable gift

And tell me who wouldn't flip receiving beautiful smelling monogrammed soaps!

Three of my personal favorite items that I think would make amazing Mothers day gifts are.....
The crystal hurricane candle collection with the most heavenly gardenia scent, when empty you have a beautiful crystal container or they can be refilled
A stunning antiqued soup tureen.....just a beautiful piece for just about anywhere
This magnificent domed cake plate...love the old world etching (comes in three styles)

My favorite belljar lantern is...........
The tulip etched....the very ones I have in my own kitchen!

One item that I think makes an incredible and super affordable gift............monogrammed soaps. They are triple scented, come in a wonderful gift box and who doesn't want to receive a gorgeous box of milled guests soaps bearing their initials!

My most unusual and most special item is.........the pewter napkin rings

These are so incredibly special, I bet they might become a collectors item. The maker is such a talented man and he comes up with the most wonderful whimsical designs, love these!!

All the beautiful new tabletop

The stunning new oven to table pieces

And have to say I really love these darling wicker bags!!

Anniversary #3

Tomorrow is Andy's and my 3rd year wedding anniversary. It is crazy to think that we've been married for three years. Really, where does the time go??

Our anniversary is December 15, so it comes at a busy time in the Holidays. Unfortunately because of that we haven't done much in the past to celebrate our anniversaries. For our first year anniversary Andy's company wanted to send him on business to Pittsburgh, PA. I flipped out when I found out he would be traveling and gave him an earful about it being our first anniversary. I told him to tell his company that they could shove it, because he wouldn't be going. (Yep, I'm a crazy wife!) They still sent him, but they also kindly offered to send me too. Ha! So I went with him on his business trip to Pittsburgh. We had a free hotel and free meals which was nice, Andy just had to work during the day. It was an interesting anniversary to say the least.

Neither Andy or I can remember our anniversary last year. Now that's really saying something! How can we not remember our anniversary from only one year ago?? Probably because we didn't do anything. I remember moving apartments right before Christmas, so that must be what we did for our anniversary. I'm sure we went to dinner and said happy anniversary, but I don't think anything else happened. How pathetic are we?

This year we knew we would be busy over our anniversary because of the move to CA and Andy's crazy work schedule. Luckily we thought ahead and decided to take a little weekend trip to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. We went about a month ago before things were too crazy and had a lovely little weekend. We did some hiking, enjoyed the little shops, reminisced about the beginning of our relationship, had some good food, played checkers...you know, anniversary stuff. It was nice. I was glad that we were finally able to put some time aside for us to celebrate us.

Maybe in the future we'll have to make an anniversary celebration date so that we actually celebrate it rather than forgetting it. The funny thing is though, that it is definitely Andy's and my relationship style to forget things like our anniversary. Andy says, 'why celebrate it on one day in December when we can be celebrating it everyday throughout the year'. What a guy!
